The vision of the Tennessee Disability Coalition is to create a society that values, supports and includes people with disabilties. In pursuit of that vision, our Board of Directors has designated several areas of work.
These are not comprehensive, but provide an overview of the issues in each area and an introduction to the current efforts that the Tennessee Disability Coalition and our partners are engaged in to address them.
We focus on these areas in order to help meet the needs of our community and to work with our policymakers to address them at all levels of government. As new initiatives are implemented and the needs of the community change, we have and will continue to update our areas of work.
