Tennessee Parent to Parent

Tennessee Parent-to-Parent is a statewide program established to provide support, information, services, training and leadership opportunities for families of youth and children with special health care needs.

  • One-to-one connections for parents, adult siblings and individuals looking for an opportunity to talk about their child, sibling, themselves and their family. Visit our Parent Matching page for more!
  • We host patient- and family-centered care workshops to help improve your experience with your health care team.
  • We train families to be effective leaders and help to place them in leadership roles.
  • We host Teen GAIN peer-led discussion groups where participants between ages 12-17 with special health care needs talk about making their health care work for them.

If you want to learn more about our parent- and family-centered care workshops, our Teen GAIN discussion groups, or other intiatives please contact Kara Adams at: kara_a@tndisability.org or call us at: 615-383-9442.
