State Plan for Independent Living - May Hearings
Tennessee will hold six public hearings across the state in May about the State Plan for Indepdent Living (SPIL). Your input to the proposed plan is very important. A brief summary presentation of the plans will be made by the Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) Executive Director Mark Montgomery and comments will be received as a part of the SPIL. Written comments will be accepted until Friday, May 21, 2010 (see below).

Tuesday, May 4 at 4pm EDT - Johnson City Public Library
Wednesday, May 5 at 3pm EDT - Career Center on University Avenue in Knoxville
Monday, May 10 at 4pm CDT - Memphis Center for Indepedent Living
Tuesday, May 11 at 4pm CDT - Jackson Center for Independent Living
Wednesday, May 12 at 4pm CDT - Center for Independent Living of Middle TN in Nashville
Tuesday, May 18 at 5pm EDT - State Office Building Auditorium in Chattanooga
