Early Intervention Services - The primary goal of EI is to support families in promoting their
child’s optimal development and to facilitate the child’s participation in family and community activities.
Newborn Screening - Comprehensive screening
programs for newborns in Tennessee.
Children's Special Services - Provides services to eligible children
with special health care needs. CSS has three components: medical
services, care coordination, and the Parents Encouraging Parents program.
CoverKids - Provides comprehensive health coverage for children 18 and under and maternity coverage for pregnant women.
Coverage for children is similar to the benefits offered to dependents of state employees.
